what is blubird?
birds are known for their voices, and for using those voices to fill the air with song. but what if you took away that ability for the bird to vocalize? what would they be without their voices…
i’ve never been one to be outspoken. i’ve always been reserved, resorting to listening and writing as a way to channel my emotions and words. for the longest time i’ve kept this to myself, but i’ve been itching to get it out to the world in the way i know best - not by my voice, but through music and writing. blubird is my way to get all of that out.
so what does happen when you take away a creature’s ability to speak, to sing, vocalize? well, i suppose that gives them the opportunity to find a new way to express themselves, perhaps in the way they were meant to all along.
these are my deepest emotions, my most therapeutic sounds, and most comforting outlets that i am choosing to share with you all.
enjoy the noise. and the silence - Amy
