Aries may have one of the most interesting creative journeys to coming about in the music world. His musical history is littered with creative intuition and musical talent that is very hard to come by. Starting his career on YouTube, Aries started gaining attention from his extremely impressive videos of making beats. Deconstructing popular rap songs and recreating the beats and instrumentals of songs by artists like Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and 21 Savage, Aries was showcasing his talent from the get go. 

While he built up such a fanbase on his talents with developing beats, Aries’ distinct voice and unique music videos exhibit, even more, his capabilities as an artist. I think his range of vocals that accompanies such a talent to his musical ear in making beats has served Aries well in establishing himself to be such a proficient creator. My greatest respect for Aries comes from his connection to his music. In interviews, Aries has explained how he retreated from the anxieties of his life with his music. Like any artist, their music holds a special significance to them. Aries knew from a young age he wanted to perform for crowds of people, yet still battled with anxiety from which he gained comfort from in his own creations.

Aries’ already-established following on YouTube made for his own music production in releasing his first song in 2017 to be a progressive success. Since his debut album in 2019, Aries continues to release the unexpected. While he initially gained attention from using big-name artists’ productions, Aries has proved his own name in the music industry over and over again. An artist in more ways than one, we can expect Aries to make it big just like he hoped to from a young age.
